Tips

The tips listed are mainly for occupied spaces. Please read through to see if they apply to your specific project.

Before we arrive, here’s what you need to do…

  1. Clear off all shelves, cabinets, chests and other furniture that are on the wall or against the wall.
  2. Remove all hanging art fromthe walls and store.
  3. Put away or remove all knick-knacks, toys, or other miscellaneous décor that may reside on the floors or against the walls.
  4. Move furniture away from walls. If needed, we will move furniture for a fee to be discussed at time of bid. Note: If having ceilings painted, we will cover the furniture.

While we are there…

  1. Keep the rooms clear of people, toys, and other obstructions so that we can more effectively do our jobs.
  2. We prefer to have the homeowner home to answer any questions that arise. 
  3. If you notice any issues while we are there, please bring the issue to the attention of Mike Shanks.

At project conclusion, the inspection process…

  1. Once a project concludes, the painters will review the project with the homeowner.
  2. In most cases, Mike Shanks will also inspect the project.
  3. Touch-ups and additional work will be completed as necessary to ensure complete satisfaction in the project.

Before we arrive, here’s what you need to do…

  1. Clean up any kids’ toys or machinery that may reside against the structure or home to be painted.
  2. Trim bushes and trees so that we can more easily access the project area.
  3. Remove any wasp or bee nests that may reside against the house. If our employees are stung, it could slow down the process.

While we are there…

  1. Keep all children clear of our vehicles and the paint area.
  2. Notify us of any special parking situation.

At project conclusion, the inspection process…

  1. Once we conclude, you will be notified.
  2. Walk the work area and inspect the project to ensure that it meets your specification.
  3. Notify painters of any questions or areas that need attention.
  4. Contact Mike Shanks to discuss any issues. 

Before we arrive, here’s what you need to do…

  1. Clear off any shelves, cabinets, or counters in the work area.
  2. Unplug or turn off any equipment,  if necessary. All desks or equipment should be moved away from the walls, if applicable.
  3. If it’s possible to keep the work area free of employees during the painting time, that would be ideal. We can communicate a specific schedule to you so that you can plan ahead.

While we are there…

  1. Keep the work area free of employees and equipment if possible.
